PRODUCT OF THE MONTH!
Lets talk dry🏜 damaged hair
Winter is not nice to our hair at all. With the combination of hiding and pulling our hair tight under hats, scarves, coats, and the crisp air itself🥶, leaves our ends screaming for some moisture😣 and if you add COLOR SERVICES or THERMAL STYLING into the mix our ends are 😡😡😡😡
How do you fix this problem??
Get yo self a hair mask!!! This one is my absolute FAVORITE and actually is the product that turned my attention to @refstockholm completely!! This shit is gold in a bottle you guys. The reconstructing activities in this hair mask turns your hair from 👎 to 👍
It penetrates into the hair cuticle to help strengthen from the inside OUT. So whether its this weather making your hair pissed off at you, or if its your own doing from color or curling irons, this product is 🔥
-Dampen your hair in the shower after a good wash
-Put a quarter size amount in your palm and massage into your ends. Do NOT put it on the top of your head/roots. Youll get oily real quick***
-Keep it in over night or just for 15 min. Whatever you have time for! The longer the better though -Rinse
-DONE! Do this once a week ot every other week depending on how damaged your hair is
Blonde at home maintance
***Blondies/future blondies please read***
Let's talk about BLONDE maintenance -You just spent SEVERAL hours in the salon getting your hair to a beautiful blonde shade😍 (blonde hair isnt easy)
-You spent big 💰💲 to get there (blonde hair ain't cheap)
-You go home and you've been rocking the blonde hair for awhile and now its time to wash it!
-A few washes go by and you've realized the toner is starting to fade and warmth is coming back through☀️😱 (inevitable, color always fades warm)
You dont need to get your roots done yet, so WHAT DO YOU DO??
💜🔮Purple shampoo is a goddess just for this ☂️☪️
Purple shampoo contains cooling pigments to help cancel out the yellow tones that WILL eventually start to peak through your hair. Think of it as an at home temporary toner in between your real toners. You wash your hair as normal, use the correct purple shampoo given to you by your stylist, then condition like normal. Super easy to do, no thought about it. Your silver ashy tones are back and you're ready to continue your day until your next color appointment
WITHOUT PURPLE SHAMPOO
Your hair can get more and more yellow as time goes on. Things such as sunlight, hard water (water containing metals), chlorine, cigarette smoke, or just every day life things, can get into your hair and cause more yellowing. Making it VERY hard on your stylist to keep your blonding sessions consistent.
All the 💰 and ⏰ you spent on your hair, will essentially be for nothing when the maintenance at home isnt being done. The next time you come in for your appointment, your hair will require more steps to get you back to a clean blonde.
More steps=more time and more $
So PLEASE invest in a QUALITY purple shampoo when becoming blonde. My favorite so far is @refstockholm for their powerful pigments. .
◇Let's talk about growing out a pixie◇
1. Patience is key- It will be a long journey, but totally worth it if you desire a longer look
2. The unintentional mullet WILL happen. Mentally prepare yourself for it 😂
3. Prepare to lose some length at some point. Once you get the point where you have a long tail in the nape section, refer to picture, you will need to chop💇♀️that💇♀️mop!! It will be a bitter sweet moment because you worked so hard to grow out that hair and get that length. If you wanna rock a mullet style, by all means go for it homie🎸🤘 If you want the tail gone, you have to use the length that you've grown on your sides as the guideline to your new length. .
When you cut your back to be even with the sides, your hair can now grow together and make the process alittle bit more pleasing to the eyeballs👁👀
4.With all hair makeovers, trust the process🖤
